Don’t put the books away just because it’s summer!

Congratulations to Geena Bushey and Breahanna Callaghan on advancing to the next round of the 13th annual Polar Expressions Publishing poetry contest.
Theirs poems have been selected among thousands of entries across Canada.
Geena and Breahanna’s work will be published in a Canadian student poetry collection entitled Perspective released before summer.
Geena and Breahanna join former MRHS alumni, Trent McGuigan & Hailee White who also were finalists and had their short story and poem published, respectively. Copies of those texts are available in the library! Any students interested in information about future contests are asked to see Mrs Killeen for full details.
